Creation of a new model to define the architecture and culture of an enterprise and diagnose its organisational health.
RESEARCH AREA 3
Disruptive Megaventure and Business Model Innovation and Ecosystems Design
Objective: To develop advanced insights, tools, and methodologies — along with system design and architectural principles — for building disruptive Megaventures, breakthrough business models, and future-oriented innovation ecosystems. This research explores how to architect ventures not as isolated entities, but as integrated, scalable systems of technologies, partners, and platforms capable of reshaping industries, creating entirely new markets, and delivering exponential value for enterprises and society.
RESEARCH AREA 3 | TOPICS
-
Investigating how companies can continuously reinvent themselves through disruptive innovation and the creation of future-fit exponential business models.
-
Technology platform architecture — including systems, components, modules, interfaces, and data — is a critical yet often overlooked element in the ideation of disruptive business models. At Megavisionary, we view system design not as a separate technical layer but as integral to shaping the very logic of a business model. Most organisations fail to integrate business model innovation with systems architecture, treating them as isolated disciplines. This disconnect weakens the overall value proposition and diminishes the coherence of the user experience. Our research focuses on fusing these two domains to develop powerful, scalable, and visionary business models and ventures — where the system and the strategy co-evolve to unlock exponential value.
RESEARCH AREA INNOVATIONS
Our Founder, Nicolas De Santis, was a co-creator of the seminal book Business Model Generation, which introduced the Business Model Canvas — now the global standard for business model innovation.
