THE BIRTH OF MEGAVISIONARY®

During the 1990s, Gold Mercury President Nicolas De Santis recognised that the world was changing faster than leaders could anticipate. Globalisation, technological acceleration and rising complexity were transforming and disrupting industries, institutions and societies, yet most organisations lacked the capability to systematically understand and shape the futures upon which their success would depend.
Strategy remained reactive. Foresight was fragmented. Emerging technologies were redefining entire sectors, yet few leaders possessed the tools required to understand their long-term implications and incorporate them into strategic decision-making.
To address this challenge, Nicolas created Future Visioneering® — a new field dedicated to the systematic exploration, design and organisation of the future. Over the following decades, through research, entrepreneurship, enterprise transformation and real-world experimentation, this work evolved into the Megavisionary System® and laid the foundations for Future Worldbuilding®.
Today, Gold Mercury Megavisionary® continues this mission by advancing the ideas, intelligence and capabilities required to help leaders shape the future rather than merely react to it.
